  • Local transportation is limited

  • Some hotels and resorts are flooded. Others compromised by flooded access roads.
  • Areas not flooded are packed with Bangkokians escaping floods
  • Cha am, Hua Hin, Chon Buri, and Pattaya are packed. Moderately priced rooms, apartments may not be available for weeks
  • Roads and railroads up-country have been damaged by floods
