The Southwest monsoon determines diving conditions in the Andaman Sea
The Northeast monsoon affects the Gulf of Thailand.

Andaman Sea Best diving between November and March. The southwest monsoon blows from June thru October. So while diving in the Andaman sea is possible, visibility and surface conditions are compromised.

Gulf of Thailand The best diving is June through October. Off season in the Gulf of Thailand is November to March.

Eastern Gulf Visibility will be best from November thru March.

Pattaya Area Visibility improves after the Central Area rainy season, usually November and is good through thru February
