  • Bus and Train service is available from Bangkok to Surat Thani where several ferry's haul passengers and vehicles to Ko Samui.
  • Express bus service to Surat Thani is available from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok.

Phi Phi Islands Dive Sites

  • Numerous regular boats and "speed boats" are available in Phuket.

Koh Tao Dive Sites

  • "Speedboat" service from the car ferry pier at Don Sak (east of Surat Thani)
  • Regular boats from the northern "speedboat" pier at Maenam Beach on Ko Samui.
  • "Speedboat" service from the ferry pier at Nathon on Ko Samui
  • "Speedboat", "speed ferry" and Songserm express boat from Chumphon
  • Boat from Thung Makham (Chumphon)

Tarutao Marine Park Dive Sites

  • By air, the nearest airport is Haad Yai. Thai Airways flies a regular schedule. Then bus or taxi to Sathun, local transport to Pakbara and from the Pakbara Pier take a boar or from Thammalung Jetty take the "fast ferry" direct to Ko Lipe
  • Express bus service to Sathun is available from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok.
  • Train service to Haad Yai - several trains with various classes of service, some overnight sleepers with meal service.

Pattaya Dive Sites

  • Bangkok Airways has regularly scheduled flights to nearby U-Tapao
  • Pattaya is 2 hours from Bangkok by car. Taxi service will be about Bt 1500.
