National Parks in Thailand vary significantly. Parks such as Khao Yai, Doi Inthanon and Khao Sok can be destinations unto themselves with well-equipped guest houses, restaurants and a variety of activities.
Other National Parks may only be a day trip, or part of a nature or adventure tour.
The status of national parks in Thailand is continually changing due to development. Ko Chang is a good example. We will try to keep our current but it is almost impossible.
Many parks require advance booking, especially in the busy season (Oct - Feb). Book your accommodations as far in advance as possible, or make sure your tour operator has done so.
"Bungalows" can range from very comfortable to very primitive.
"Mountain biking" as used here, is a catch-all phrase for all off-road cycling and is assumed you take your own (or rented elsewhere) equipment to the park
When parks have "camping sites" they normally have tents for rent
We are continually adding information to the park popups
