This verdant island in the Gulf of Thailand was virtually

70.

Koh Samui Water Sports and Diving
While Ko Tao is touted as being the mecca for scuba diving, Samui has a number of diving operations and dive resorts. Some of the better dive spots are reached by boat, but a day trip can be yield some excellent diving.
Sailing, windsurfing, swimming, relaxing and beach combing are also
available.
But this forested island with peaks that rise past 600 meters has attractions inland as well.

The gods blessed Koh Samui with verdant forests, great
beaches, waterfalls and offshore islands.
Caution: Ko Samui has overbuilt its natural
resources and water has become a problem during certain
seasons. It might be a good idea to check on the island's
rainfall if you are planning a trip during late March.
