Chiang Mai Photography Course

Learn the art of photography with Steve Kramer, Chiang Mai's resident photography buff.

A one-day course is broken into two parts, with the morning session spent learning the nuts and bolts of photography - : matters of light and distance, shutter speeds, etc.

"Remember that the eyes see in a figure of eight," says Steve, "So taking a snapshot with the subject right in the middle isn't always the most pleasing to the eye."

After the theory comes an afternoon field trip, usually to an orchid farm and then on to a buffalo training camp.
