Music of Bangkok & Thailand
Thais love music and are known as fine musicians. This is reflected in the vast array of venues for live music covering every genre you can imagine. You should find something in the list below that appeals to you.

Roots Reggae Pub on Sukhumvit Soi 26. Unlike Rock Pub, (tel 02-259 7002) Roots Reggae does not always live up to its name. It also features, some would say unfortunately, rap music. It is, however, perhaps the only Reggae oriented venue in Bangkok.
Saxophone (Victory Monument, tel 02-246 5472) the jazz starts at 9 PM. This club has an excellent reputation for its music, food and service -- and high prices.
Senor Pico's is in the Rembrandt Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 18 (tel 02-261 7100). Music starts at 7:30 PM and is Latin oriented. If you are wondering whether it is related to the restaurant of the same name in Los Angeles, the answer is yes.
